Iran: hundreds poisoned after breathing Chlorine gas

Iran, August 14, 2017 - Residents of the city of Dezful, southern Iran, protested after a large amount of Chlorine gas was leaked into the air in their city on Sunday, Aug. 13. Hundreds were transferred to hospitals after being poisoned due to breathing the toxic gas.  
Residents gathered in front of the governor's office in their city protesting the dangerous situation and the officials' incompetence to stop this hazardous gas leak. The protesters chanted 'We don’t want incompetent officials.'
Also on Sunday, Aug. 13, Chlorine Gas leak was picked up around the DEZ River in Dezful poisoning more than 500 people sending them to the hospitals.
