PLATFORM FOR FUTURE IRAN - MARYAM RAJAVI

2. We want a pluralist system, freedom of parties and assembly. We respect all individual freedoms. We underscore complete freedom of expression and of the media and unconditional access by all to the internet.

End the silence on Iran’s human rights abuses before the current crackdown worsens

The nationwide protests in Iran, which began on December 28 in Mashhad, gave voice to the economic frustration of ordinary Iranians, but quickly expanded to slogans like “death to [President] Rouhani”, “death to the dictator”, and “reformists, conservatives: the game is over.” In short, the protesters were demanding democratic change in Iran.
To no one’s surprise, Iranian authorities responded violently, with at least 8,000 arrests and upwards of 50 deaths. The predictability of the suppression should have prepared Western policymakers to respond appropriately and effectively.
Despite such brutality, the protests have continued. Earlier this week

The MEK's Religious Beliefs

The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) is a political group dedicated to bringing freedom and democracy to Iran.
They derive their political beliefs from a modern and tolerant version of Islam that is fully compatible with modern society – the exact opposite of the ruling mullahs’ Sharia Law, which is intolerant, extremist, genocidal, non-democratic, and misogynist – and the MEK believe that their interpretation is the true meaning of Islam.
In 1982, MEK leader Massoud Rajavi, said: “The Islam we want is nationalistic, democratic, progressive, and not opposed to science or civilization. We believe there is no contradiction between modern science and true Islam, and we believe that in Islam there must be no compulsion or dictatorship.”
This combination of tolerant religion and politics means that the MEK enjoys broad public support amongst the Iranian people and people all over the world, but it is also why the mullahs fear the MEK.
Today, we will look

Rebellious and resilient, Iran’s women are the force for change

Women are indeed the Force for Change.
This was vividly seen in Iran throughout the past year and of course, most conspicuously during the uprising in December and January.
Although the situation in Iran is extremely oppressive for women and they have borne the brunt of repression for the past 39 years, they are not submissive contrary to the regime’s expectation.
Gender discrimination, gender segregation, and various restrictions have made Iranian women not just rebellious but also very resilient.

MRS. MARYAM RAJAVI ADDRESSED THE CONFERENCE “THE IRAN UPRISING AND THE ROLE OF WOMEN”, IN PARIS.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi along with lawmakers, dignitaries and women rights activists attended in the conference. Mrs. Rajavi is the keynote speaker at the conference.she cherished the Women day by Congratulating to all the Women of the world, and the freedom-loving women of Iran for persisting on the cause of equality. And admired because the women of Iran have taken major strides at the forefront of the fight against fundamentalism,
the enemy of Women the world over.
Mrs. Rajavi also saluted the women around the world, particularly the in Syria, who resisted last

Iran is using fake polls to discredit the nationwide protests

The tens of thousands of Iranian protesters who risked their lives earlier this year to denounce the corruption and tyranny of the regime of Tehran do not represent the views of the country's population — at least, that's what a survey by a shady organization with ties to the regime claims. Disappointingly, the survey was well-received by media outlets that have a track record of supporting appeasement toward the Iranian regime.

WHY AREN’T THE PROTESTS FOR JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY EXTINGUISHING IN IRAN?

By Mahdavi Nasim
Disappointed by the deteriorating economic condition and rampant official corruption, the suppressed Iranian people poured into the streets and demanded radical political changes in Iran. The events led to widespread protests that astounded the world and shook the pillars of the power in the country.
Impotent to respond to the legitimate demands of people, as it was expected, the tyranny regime answered back the protesters with an iron fist by security forces and Basij Para militias affiliated to the IRGC. The crackdown’s toll rose to 50 and about 8000 arrests, more than 20 were tormented to death in the custody in different cities according to the reliable sources inside Iran.

Can Fake News Save Iran's Mullahs?

Iran's protests are proving how the people demand change to a democratic system. These nationwide demonstrations, rejecting the entirety of Iran's regime, and U.S. President Donald Trump's positions, alongside other administration officials such as Vice President Pence and UN Ambassador Nicki Haley, have angered Iran's lobbyists and appeasement supporters in the U.S. They have launched retaliatory measures supporting Tehran.

Unemployment and Its Relation to Iran’s Recent Protests and Uprising

NCRI - At its starting point, Iran’s recent uprising kicked off on December 28, 2017, with such slogans like ‘Death to high prices’ and ‘Death to unemployment’ and quickly turned into “Death to the Dictator and Death to Khamenei” and the request for “ Regime Change” as the one and only solution to all the problems.
Concerning the economic aspect of the protests it is notable that the dimensions and depth of the country’s unemployment has grown so much that there are lots of graduates who despite their high level of expertise are involved in such irrelevant jobs like laboring and working as an errand boy in shops, which is even more astonishing -- and of course more heart-rending -- than the country’s unemployment problem itself.
In this regard, a new report on unemployment,

Maryam Rajavi is the leader of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of Iranian Resistance groups, which includes the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as its largest member. The plan is approved by both the NCRI and MEK.
Let’s take a little look at the plan.

  DEMOCRACY

The plan advocates free and fair elections as the only avenue to political leadership(1) and stresses that there will be

DEBUNKING THE IRAN REGIME'S LIES ABOUT THE MEK: NO, THE MEK AREN’T MARXIST

by Poorang Novak
It is no secret that the Iranian Regime (both Mullah and Shah) have used disinformation campaigns to attack and discredit the Iranian Resistance group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
One of those disinformation campaigns is the ‘Islamist Marxist’ label that the Shah’s Secret Police (SAVAK) originally used to disparage the MEK in order to undermine its support among the devout Iranian people because the Shah was scared of the MEK’s potential to mobilize Iranians- particularly the youth- against the monarchy. The Shah and SAVAK also used it to disparage other political opponents of the

IRAN REGIME’S MILITARY OFFICIAL ADMITS TO LEADING ROLE OF THE MEK / PMOI IN RECENT UPRISINGS

by Mahmood Hakamian
“The protests that erupted recently across Iran involved setting fire to the State Security Force’s motorcycles, breaking the windows of religious seminaries in Abhar and Zanjan, setting fire to police kiosks in Arak, opening fire on the IRGC with hunting rifles, assaulting a State Security Force officer with a brick….” according to Brig. Gen. Rasoul Sanai, Political Affairs Deputy for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
Sanai spoke about the behind the scenes

Iranian Opposition PMOI/MEK, Under the NCRI Umbrella, What Iran's Regime Is Actually Terrified Of

Iran Focus
London, 9 Jan - For nearly two weeks now protests are mushrooming across Iran and literally shaking the very pillars of the country’s ruling regime. Various discussions continue over the scope of these protests, their comparisons to the 2009 and 1999 uprising episodes, what should be expected from the international community and how to trek forward, amongst other subjects.
What goes neglected to this day is the main source of the Iranian regime’s fear. Yes, this regime has a history of quelling small protests and major uprising, especially thanks

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE PEOPLE’S MOJAHEDIN ORGANIZATION OF IRAN (PMOI/MEK)

by Jazeh Miller
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) is a political group dedicated to a#chieving a free and democratic Iran, but how did it start and why?
The MEK was founded on September 6, 1965, by three engineers: Mohammad Hanifnejad, Said Mohsen, and Ali-Ashgar Badizadgan.
The trio had previously been involved in the Freedom/Liberation Movement, led by Medhi Bazargan, which advocated for the democratic principles of the Iranian constitution created after the 1905 revolution.
The group lasted for two years before the

Disinformation Campaign of Iran Regime to Discredit Mek

Iran Focus
London, 30 Jan - It is no secret that since it stole power in 1979, the Iranian Regime continually attempts to discredit the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) both domestically and globally.
There are numerous accounts, by both the MEK and various Western institutions, of Iran’s so-called Intelligence Ministry (MOIS) targeting the MEK’s reputation in a “long-running and sophisticated information campaign”, “coordinated and financed by the Iranian intelligence services” to discredit the MEK.
Domestically
The Iranian Regime is scared of the MEK’s popularity in Iran and uses the MOIS to discredit the MEK among the Iranian people. As the mullahs control/censor most the media in Iran, it’s pretty easy for them to spread disinformation about the MEK, but luckily the Iranian people know the truth.
Internationally
The Iranian Regime is scared that the MEK has significant support outside of Iran, as they know that the more foreign governments who support the MEK and not the

Urging The UN Secretary-General To Take An Urgent Action For The Freedom Of The Prisoners In Iran

The letter posted below is addressed to the UN Secretary General on behalf of families of the Iranian protesters arrested during the recent uprising in Iran. Families are urging UNSG to take urgent action for the freedom of the prisoners. Iran Human Rights Monitor (IHRM) is supporting this appeal to UNSG and is calling upon all who are concerned about human rights violations in Iran to join adding their names to this letter.

Urging the UN Secretary-General to take an urgent action for the freedom of the prisoners in Iran

Dear Secretary-General
Since the last days of 2017, the world has witnessed massive and courageous protests by Iranian people throughout the country against the regime ruling Iran and for the liberation and establishment of a democratically elected government.  The world community has supported the demands of the people of Iran for freedom and has
