More than 100,000 people participated at the Grand Iranian Gathering in Paris
Dear editor,
Bloomberg News on June 19, published an interview with Reza Pahlavi, the son of a former Iranian dictator who was overthrown by the Iranian people. By rehashing a number of false accusations against Iran’s democratic opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), he once again demonstrated his hostility towards democracy and popular sovereignty.  Please publish the following rebuttal in Bloomberg News.

Iran: Women political prisoners detained in grim conditions

Iranian women political prisoners Golrokh Iraee and Atena Daemi are held in horrible conditions in a small, dark room in Qarchak Prison while they are denied having telephone contacts or family visits.
This was tweeted by Atena Daemi’s father on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Mr. Hossein Daemi said the lives of these imprisoned women are in danger.
According to Mr. Daemi, his daughter Atena and Golrokh Iraee who is still on hunger strike, are not well.
Since February 1, they have been deprived of having telephone contacts or going for fresh air after dervish women were transferred to the same ward. They are also deprived of shopping at the prison’s store and their conditions resemble solitary confinement. At the same time, they are

DEBUNKING THE IRAN REGIME'S LIES ABOUT THE MEK: NO, THE MEK AREN’T MARXIST

by Poorang Novak
It is no secret that the Iranian Regime (both Mullah and Shah) have used disinformation campaigns to attack and discredit the Iranian Resistance group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
One of those disinformation campaigns is the ‘Islamist Marxist’ label that the Shah’s Secret Police (SAVAK) originally used to disparage the MEK in order to undermine its support among the devout Iranian people because the Shah was scared of the MEK’s potential to mobilize Iranians- particularly the youth- against the monarchy. The Shah and SAVAK also used it to disparage other political opponents of the monarchy.

IRAN RESISTANCE GROUP MEK CALLS ON INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT PROTESTERS

By INU Staff
INU - The Iranian Regime is involved in “warmongering and belligerence” in order to fuel crises in the Middle East, according to Iran’s organized democratic forces, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
The Iranian Regime’s regional aggression has also been criticised by the Iranian people during their ongoing nationwide anti-regime protests, and the MEK are advising that the international community back the protesters’ calls for regime change in order to avoid Iran starting another war in the Middle East.

The Truth Behind the Rumours: Are the MEK Marxist?

Over the past 50 years, both the Shah’s and the Mullahs’ Regimes have accused the Iranian resistance group, People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) of being Marxist, but is it true?
Simply, no. It was a wrongful label put upon the MEK by those who opposed it to slander them and undermine their support from the devout Iranian people (as public perception in Iran of the word Marxist was atheist, materialistic, and Western) and the West (who saw Marxists as atheist and a threat to democracy during the Cold War).
How did the MEK first get misrepresented as Marxists?

WHY DOES ROUHANI WARN THAT IRAN MUST HEED LESSONS OF 1979 REVOLUTION? Created: 01 February 2018

By Mahdavi Nasim
In a speech marking the 39th anniversary of the mullah’s rule, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian regime’s President warns Iran must heed lessons of 1979 revolution.
Governments should hear the voice of advice, demand, criticism, and protest of the people. If the government does not hear the voice of criticism and protest of the people, it may be "too late" Hassan Rouhani said.
The unrest - the largest of its kind since a disputed presidential election in 2009 - initially began over price rises and corruption. But it quickly spiraled into a wider display of animosity towards the government and ruling clerics. At least more than 50 people were killed

Disinformation Campaign of Iran Regime to Discredit Mek

Iran Focus
London, 30 Jan - It is no secret that since it stole power in 1979, the Iranian Regime continually attempts to discredit the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) both domestically and globally.
There are numerous accounts, by both the MEK and various Western institutions, of Iran’s so-called Intelligence Ministry (MOIS) targeting the MEK’s reputation in a “long-running and sophisticated information campaign”, “coordinated and financed by the Iranian intelligence services” to discredit the MEK.
Domestically
The Iranian Regime is scared of the MEK’s popularity in Iran and uses the MOIS to discredit the MEK among the Iranian people. As the mullahs control/censor most the media in Iran, it’s pretty easy for them to spread disinformation about the MEK, but luckily the Iranian people know the truth.
Internationally
The Iranian Regime is scared that the MEK has significant support outside of Iran, as they know that the more foreign governments who support the MEK and not the

HOW POPULAR IS THE MEK IN IRAN?

by Mahmood Hakamian
One of the most common reasons given for dismissing the Iranian Resistance, specifically the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK), is that it is unpopular within Iran. This is simply untrue.
The MEK is the largest and most popular people’s resistance movement within Iran and it enjoys support from all sectors of the population. The Mullahs’ Regime, on the other hand, is highly unpopular among the Iranian people as evidenced by the hundreds of protests per day in 2017, which was admitted to by the Regime and finally by the recent nationwide protests and uprising in which the Iranian people clearly
