Iran: Four prisoners hanged in Isfahan Prison

On Monday July 17, four prisoners were hanged in the Central Isfahan Prison.
Two of these prisoners were identified as Saied Diagar and Morteza Barghami and were hanged for drug related crimes.
According to an informed source, Barghami treaded beads in prison to pay for his wife and child.
The two other prisoners who have not been identified were charged with “enmity with God”. One of these two prisoners stabbed himself when his name was being called for execution so that his death sentenced would be delayed. Nevertheless, he was stitched up and transferred to solitary for execution.
