WHY DID THE IRANIAN PROTESTERS TARGET THE FRIDAY PRAYER IMAM OFFICES, THE REPRESENTATIVES OF KHAMENEI

Since 1979, the Islamic regime of the Mullahs rules Iran. Part of the government's internal politics is being endorsed by “Friday prayer imams” who are formally regime’s leader representatives. The supreme leader of the regime gives his general lines to them and they announce it at Friday prayers, which is a religious ritual.
 Over the past 39 years of the mullahs' rule, the people of Iran strongly oppose the Khamenei representatives (Friday prayer imam) People are aware that the levers of Khamenei's power are not just military forces but Friday prayer imams too. Therefore, during the recent uprising, protesters
