Iran: Prisoner died after seven-hour delay in transferring to hospital

An inmate identified as Seyedreza Musavi has died in Rajai Shahr Prison due to negligence of prison officials and being denied hospitalization.
He suffered a heart attack and was transferred to prison clinic at 9 am by the other inmates. Prison officials however delayed transferring him to hospital for seven hours. He subsequently passed away at 4 pm.
