Homeless women have no other choice but to sell their children due to extreme poverty.
Tehran City Council’s Fatemeh Daneshvar said, “Homeless women refer to hospitals in the south and center of the capital. After delivering their baby, they sell them for 100 to 200 thousand toumans ($27-53). (The state-run ICANA news website, July 4, 2017)
