Baluch political prisoner, Mohammad Saber Raisi, is recently being held in uncertain conditions in communal wards of Tehran’s Evin Prison.
He was serving a 15-year sentence in Ardabil Prison, northwestern Iran. Shortly after protesting the poor conditions of political prisoners he was transferred to Evin Prison on April 9, 2017.
Raisi called his family on April 12, informing them about his transfer, however he was not allowed to talk about the place he had been taken to.
He has been held in communal cells of ward 209 along with six others, being denied telephone calls and family visits, according to an informed source.
This political prisoner has been imprisoned since the age of 17.
