Hamas Reveal That Iran Is Funding Them

London, 30 Aug - The new leader of the Hamas terrorist group has confirmed that the Iranian Regime is now supplying them with money and weapons, after their five-year rift had been repaired.
Iran was once Hamas’ top backer but broke off ties in 2012 when Hamas refused to support Iranian ally dictator Bashar Assad, in the Syrian civil war.

Iran: Prison sentences issued for two women in Andimeshk


Ms. Ashraf Rahimkhani, 54, has been sentenced to one year in prison.
Ms. Rahimkhani was a political prisoner in the 80s for supporting the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran. She is presently charged for running a library called the Mother’s Library.
Ms. Zeinab Keshvari, 37, has also been sentenced to four months in prison. She was charged for cooperating with Ms. Rahimkhani in running the Mother’s Library.

Receiving a letter is a routine for most people, but not for me. I was a former political prisoner in Iran and had been sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment in the city of Rasht in northern Iran. I was able to escape the prison miraculously and cross Iran's borders in a completely non-standard fashion. In the midst of a severe crackdown on dissent in Iran, it was very risky to send me a letter.

حين اكملت كتابي عن المرأة الايرانية عام 2004 ثم طبعته وتم توزيعه وقرأته بناتي واخواتي العراقيات قالت لي اكثر من عراقية انها بكت لهول المعاناة التي واجهتها بنت ايران اما واختا وزوجة ،وفي الحقيقة كان كتابي الذي حمل عنوان ( المرأة الايرانية والبحث عن سواحل الحرية ) في جوهره انذارا موثقا للمرأة العراقية وتحذيرا من السير في طريق ولاية الفقيه الذي كان يغذ الخطى عليه عملاء ايران الذين سلمتهم اميركا كراسي النفوذ والسلطة في العراق ، وهو في الوقت ذاته تصوير دقيق لعظمة المرأة الايرانية  وصلابتها في مواجهة الظلم والجور وقمع الملالي ،هذه الصلابة التي اعيد تصويرها اليوم من خلال رسالة السيدة ام الشهداء رضائي التي وجهتها الى الشعب الايراني والسجناء السياسيين المضربين عن الطعام

Iran: SSF to deal with women’s dropping of veil

The Commander of the State Security Force in Shahroud, north central Iran, stressed that the SSF will deal with women dropping their veils in their cars. “The number of cars impounded last month amounts to 16.”
Mojtaba Ashrafi said the SSF was tasked with giving verbal warnings to improperly veiled women on the streets and in their cars.
“The SSF gave 877 verbal warnings (to women) in public places,” he added. (The state-run Tasnim news agency – August 22, 2017)

Six-hundred newborn infants have been handed over to the National Welfare Organization of Iran. The organization’s social officer said children and babies are sold in some parts of the country.

A group of protestors in Iran who had been cheated by Mehr Housing Institute, held a protest rally in Tehran in front of the office of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development on Sunday, August 13, 2017. It was the second day such a protest was being held.  
Women played an active role in this protest. They also objected to the reinstatement of Abbas Akhundi as the Minister of Roads and Urban Development and to Rouhani's failure to fulfill his election promises.
Similar protests were also held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Tehran, Hamedan (western Iran) and Mianeh (northwest of Iran).
